Beautiful photographs begin long before I ever pick up my camera.

Beautiful photos don't just begin when I pick up my camera. They begin with getting to know you, understanding what matters most to you, and creating an environment where you can relax, be fully present, and simply enjoy the people you love. When you feel comfortable, connected, and free to be yourself, that's when the most meaningful images naturally unfold.

What You Can Expect

01

Never having to wonder what to do.

Whether you're completely comfortable in front of the camera or convinced you're awkward, I'll gently guide you every step of the way. From natural prompts to subtle direction, you'll never be left wondering what to do or where to look.

02

Being fully present.

The best photographs happen when you're focused on the people you love, not on the camera. My job is to take care of the little details so you can laugh, hug a little tighter, and simply enjoy being together.

03

Feeling taken care of.

You deserve to feel supported long before your session begins and long after it's over. Whether you have questions, need outfit advice, or just want someone to help you think through the details, I'm only ever an email away.

04

Images you'll cherish for a lifetime.

You'll leave with photographs that tell your story honestly, preserve the people you love, and become more meaningful with every passing year. My hope is that one day, they're the photographs your children and grandchildren pull out to remember you.

Reliving it all

Once your photographs are carefully edited, your final gallery will arrive ready to download, share, print, and enjoy. But my hope is that this is only the beginning. These are the images you’ll return to as the years pass, sharing the stories behind them and remembering exactly how this season of your life felt.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Portrait FAQs

What’s the booking process like?

Once you reach out, we’ll talk through what you’re looking for and choose a date, time, and location for your session. From there, I’ll send over your contract and invoice to officially reserve your date. Once you’re booked, you’ll receive everything you need to start getting ready for your session!

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend reaching out 2–3 months in advance, especially during the busier fall and winter seasons. That said, last-minute availability does occasionally open up, so it’s always worth reaching out. If I can make it work, I absolutely will!

Do you help with planning outfits and locations?

Absolutely! I’ll help you choose a location that fits what you’re envisioning for your photos, and once you book, you’ll receive my session prep guide with outfit inspiration, color palettes, and helpful tips so you can feel confident and ready for your session.

We’re awkward in front of the camera. Will that be a problem?

Not at all! I’ll guide you throughout your session so you never have to wonder what to do, while still leaving plenty of room for genuine moments to unfold naturally. Most clients tell me they end up feeling far more comfortable and having way more fun than they expected!

What if my children don’t cooperate?

That’s completely okay! I will absolutely do my best to make sure we get at least one good posed "fridge photo" as I like to call it, but children aren’t expected to sit still, smile on command, or be perfectly behaved during your session. I’ll follow their lead, keep things moving, and leave plenty of room for breaks, play, and genuine moments to unfold. Some of the most meaningful photographs happen when we let go of perfection and simply allow kids to be themselves.

Can we include our kids, pets, or extended family?

Absolutely! Your session should reflect the people you love most, so children, pets, and additional family members are always welcome. Sessions with larger groups of 9 or more people may require additional time and are subject to an extended family session fee.

What happens if the weather isn’t great?

I’ll keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If the weather looks like it may interfere with your experience or the photographs we’re hoping to create, we’ll talk through our options and reschedule if needed. Florida weather can be unpredictable, so I typically wait until closer to your session before making the final call.

How long will it take to receive my photos?

You’ll receive your proof gallery shortly after your session so you can select your favorite images. Once your selections are submitted, your fully edited gallery will be delivered within three weeks, though I often deliver sooner!

Can I print my photos anywhere?

Absolutely! Your final gallery includes a personal print release, so you’re welcome to print your photographs wherever you’d like. For the best quality, I also offer professional prints, albums, and wall art directly through your gallery.

Wedding FAQs

What’s the booking process like?

Once you reach out, we’ll talk through your wedding plans, what you’re envisioning for your photography, and the coverage that best fits your day. From there, I’ll send over your contract and invoice to officially reserve your date. Once you’re booked, we can start bringing all of the details together!

How far in advance should we book?

I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your wedding date and venue secured, especially for popular dates during Florida’s busy wedding season. Many couples book 9–12 months in advance, but I’m always happy to hear from you no matter how close your wedding day may be. If your date is available, I’d love to chat!

How do we know how many hours of coverage we need?

Every wedding day is different, so the right amount of coverage depends on your timeline and the moments that matter most to you. I’ll talk through your plans with you and help you choose the amount of coverage that makes the most sense for your day.

Do you help with planning for the wedding day?

Absolutely! While I’m not a wedding planner, I’ll help with everything photography-related leading up to your day. I’ll provide timeline guidance, a detailed questionnaire, and a family formal shot list to make sure the important details are covered. I’m also always happy to answer questions, offer suggestions, and help however I can along the way.

Do you offer an engagement session with wedding packages?

Yes! All wedding collections with six or more hours of coverage include a complimentary engagement session. It’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, help you feel more comfortable in front of my camera, and create some beautiful photographs together before your wedding day. Engagement sessions take place within my local service area, though travel is always available for an additional fee.

We’re awkward in front of the camera. Will that be a problem?

Not at all! I’ll guide you throughout your wedding day so you never have to wonder what to do, while still leaving plenty of room for genuine moments to unfold naturally. If your collection includes an engagement session, we’ll also have the chance to work together before the wedding so you can feel even more comfortable and confident when the big day arrives.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely! While I’m based in Southwest Florida, I’m happy to travel wherever your wedding takes you. Travel fees vary depending on the location, so I’ll create a custom quote based on the details of your day.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

While we can’t control the weather, we can always plan for it. I’ll keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your wedding and work with you to make the most of whatever the day brings. Whether that means adjusting the timeline, finding beautiful covered locations, or stepping outside during a break in the rain, I’ll be ready to adapt so you can focus on enjoying your day.

How long will it take to receive our photos?

Your final wedding gallery will be delivered within eight weeks, though I always aim to deliver sooner when possible. I also love sending a selection of sneak peeks shortly after your wedding day so you have a few photographs to enjoy and share while I carefully work on the rest of your gallery.

Can I print our photos anywhere?

Absolutely! Your final gallery includes a personal print release, so you’re welcome to print your photographs wherever you’d like. For the best quality, professional prints and wall art are available directly through your online gallery. I also offer custom-designed wedding albums for couples who want to get their photographs off the screen and into their hands.
