Sarasota Wedding Photography That Feels Honest, Timeless, and Effortless
Serving Sarasota and Southwest Florida

I’m Alexa, a Sarasota wedding photographer specializing in capturing meaningful moments and events with a candid, true-to-color approach. My goal is to create wedding photographs that feel natural, timeless, and deeply personal — so you can remember how your day truly felt, not just how it looked.

A Calm, Guided Wedding Photography Experience
You don’t need to be “good at photos” to have wedding images you love. I take a guided but natural approach, helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera while leaving space for real moments to unfold. From emotional, in-between moments to all of the important portraits, my focus is creating an experience that feels relaxed, unrushed, and enjoyable.

For Couples Who Value Their Wedding Photos
I work best with couples who see photography as more than just images — couples who care about emotion, connection, and having enough space in the day to truly enjoy it. If you value an experience that feels calm, intentional, and thoughtfully guided, you’re exactly who this is for.

Sarasota Wedding Venues & Availability
I’ve photographed weddings at many beautiful Sarasota and Southwest Florida venues, including Hudson Manor and Evermore at Diamond C Ranch, The Venue at Mudge Ranch, Chapel Creek Weddings & Events, Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club, all of our local beaches, and more. If you’re planning a wedding in Sarasota or the surrounding areas and want photography that feels honest, timeless, and personal, I’d love to hear more about your plans.
While I’m based in Sarasota, I photograph weddings throughout Southwest Florida and am available for travel for weddings in other locations as well.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY FAQ
How much does wedding photography cost in Sarasota?
Wedding photography pricing can vary depending on coverage, experience, and what’s included. I offer collections designed to fit different wedding days while still providing a refined, personalized experience.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book 8–12 months in advance, especially for peak season dates in the Sarasota area.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I photograph weddings throughout Florida and sometimes other states!
What time of year is best for a Florida wedding?
Fall, winter and spring are the most popular due to milder temperatures, but weddings here are beautiful year-round!
How many hours of coverage do we need for our wedding day?
Most wedding days need between 6–8 hours of coverage, depending on whether you’d like getting ready moments, a first look, and full reception coverage documented. I’m always happy to help you decide what makes the most sense for your specific timeline.
Do you help with building a wedding day timeline?
Yes! I work closely with my couples (and planners, if you have one) to create a timeline that allows for beautiful, natural portraits while still keeping the day relaxed and flowing smoothly.
ItemWhat should we look for when choosing a wedding photographer in Sarasota?
Beyond style, look for someone whose personality makes you feel comfortable and confident. Your photographer will be with you for most of the day, so connection, communication, and experience in handling Florida lighting and weather are just as important as beautiful images.
